We believe passionately that resilient people are resilient employees.
Research shows that there are many factors which signpost individual resilience at work including the ability to create realistic plans and do what’s necessary to follow through with those plans; develop and maintain a positive self-concept; demonstrate good communication and problem solving skills and be able to manage their emotions. Our approach harnesses innovative, research based interventions to support resilience, wellness and engagement.

What do we mean by Workplace Resilience?
Resilience is defined as; the ability to bounce back after adversity and is in fact a skill which can be learned. Resilience is what allows us to adapt and thrive in situations which can be difficult or seemingly impossible. It is based on our human potential to respond rather than react, to constantly grow and improve and to learn powerful skills which can be applied in both work and life circumstances.
Our Resilience approach is based on combining three of the most widely recognised, research based, interventions to support teams, individuals, leaders and organisations resilience – Cognitive Behavioural Approaches, Positive Psychology Approaches, a Personal Resilience Plan™ and Measurement and Assessment tools. We join these elements together into our core product – The Workplace Resilience Programme.
Resilient employees, leaders and teams are the hallmark of effective businesses. Our programme works, not just to train employees at all levels of the organisation, but to actually effect actual behaviour change from low resilience to high resilience. This approach has benefits above the simple transaction of training and education.
Maximising Your resilience investment
At PCI Consulting, we believe that value is more than simply the ratio of training hours to cost per hour and thus our Workplace Resilience Programme (WRP) coupled with our Personal Resilience Plan (PRP) is a key component of life-long resilience beyond the training setting. Employees, leaders and mentors develop the tools and skills necessary to facilitate resilience within the organisation, yielding wider benefits than those undertaking the training alone. The PRP is strengths-based in that it recognises already existing resilience skills regularly utilised without conscious awareness by the participant, and adapts these for daily effective use in the organisational context. Meeting and surmounting of obstacles using the newly defined PRP is explained and demonstrated through examples and participant engagement throughout our programme.
Focussing on your business objectives and aligning these to the implementation of such a programme is a staple of our deployment approach. Tailored solutions, off-the-shelf and bespoke products, wrapped in measures of effectiveness and alignment of outcomes to business objectives are our key success criteria.
